Description	The absence of the basic stage of rock and gas outburst prognosis in Czech legislation concerning outburst control and thus also in mining practice has been repeatedly mentioned on various occasions, including proposals for practical application. The logic of chronology and the transparency of process of regional prognosis inclusion into a system of coal and gas prognosis led the authors to pilot application of outputs of the project No. 57-07 of the Czech Mining Authority “Protection of Employees against the Consequences of Rock and Gas Outbursts” in practice. Outputs and use in mining operation still remain subject to valid legislation.
