Description
| - One of the negative effects of railroad tracks that are powered by direct current railway electrification system are stray voltages. Stray voltages cause electrochemical corrosion, which causes damage of cable storage system around the track. For simulate this situation was created a model in Matlab Simulink program. It was modeled single-track with two consumptions and with two driving vehicles in powered section. The simulation model is created by using lines with a nominal length, which is at the ends supplied by power supply voltage of 3.3kV. These sources represent the individual transformers that regulate voltage level in the network. In this model, the two locomotives are on one track. The track is 3 km long. Ground layers were inserted in the simulation model into subsystems, which improved the orientation of the entire model. Individual results of the subsystem are shown in the graphs. Sizes earth currents are mainly influenced by resistance and capacity of earth structure of one layer.
