Description	Modeling and simulation of manufacturing technological processes in industrial operation make a significant contribution to simplification and economical favoring of the design, implementation, testing and putting control systems into operation. The goal of the paper is to give practical information about modeling and simulation of manufacturing technological processes in present-day automation and outline reasons of introduction of modeling and simulation into delivery of control systems. Capabilities of modeling and simulation are demonstrated by examples of cascade control, feed-forward control and control of the plants containing dead time.
