Description	Ensuring that Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) are designed and operating properly is essential to guarantee that the UPS will satisfactorily protect sensitive equipment against ac mains voltage abnormalities. Power surges, power sags, power swells, missing line cycles, clipped sine waves, noise voltages, and frequency variations are just some of the abnormalities that can occur on the power network. The paper describes automated test system for testing UPS. Phase dependent transfer time and voltage transfer points are some of the measurements that can be made.
