  • Methods of strength and deformation analysis in CAD systems mostly enable the automatic production of final elements meshing. The most of meshes are formed by tetrahedrons that are capable to mesh solid models very well. This mesh does not have to correspond to the requirements for application of final elements method, and therefore it can negatively influence results quality. CAD/CAM system Pro/ENGINEER, in modul STRUCTURE & THERMAL uses indeed another different computational algorithm than classical FEM, though the way of model meshing is important for results rightness. Therefore this modul offers several tools that enable very effectively to change geometrical elements mesh.

  • Metody pevnostních a deformačních analýz v CAD systémech většinou umožňují automatickou tvorbu sítě konečných prvků. Většina sítí je tvořena tetrahedrony, které jsou schopny velmi dobře vysíťovat objemové modely. Tato síť nemusí odpovídat požadavkům pro aplikaci metody konečných prvků, a tedy může negativně ovlivnit kvalitu výsledků. CAD/CAM systém Pro/ENGINEER, v modulu STRUCTURE & THERMAL používá sice poněkud odlišného výpočtového algoritmu, než klasické MKP, přesto způsob síťování modelu je důležitý pro správnost výsledků. Proto tento modul disponuje několika nástroji, které umožňují velmi efektivně měnit síť geometrických prvků. (cs)
