  • This paper deals about the possibility of up-to-date technologies, which use the dynamic HTML pages, especially ASP (Active Server Pages) technology, and their use for the designing systems support. The authors start at their long-time experience with building web-oriented information systems building, as well as designing process support. There are the exercises %22Databank of control systems devices%22 and %22The steel manual%22 shown in the paper and they demonstrate the actual capabilities of Internet information technologies. Database applications allow sophisticated data selection, editing and presentation on Internet with help of a thin front-end application like a web browser
