| - Increasing energy prices are currently engaged in an effort to improve the thermal and technical characteristics of the buildings. This makes the development of new technological processes and constantly tested new insulation materials. All of these materials and technologies must follow the applicable standards have tightened thermal and technical requirements. The development of heating technology has undergone a number of changes since 1962, there has been a tightening of particular values of heat transfer coefficient. The paper deals with the problems of heat transfer coefficient outer shell selected panel buildings with external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). The aim of this paper is to show the influence of the thickness and type of insulation material for heat transfer coefficient in connection with a financial assessment of additional insulation.
