  • Při návrhu moderních železobetonových konstrukcí se často používá štíhlých tlačených prvků. Účinek vnějších sil na štíhlém mimostředně tlačeném prvku je významně závislý na jeho průhybu. Při řešení těchto štíhlých prvků je tudíž potřeba zabývat se rovnováhou vnitřních a vnějších sil působících na přetvořené konstrukci. Z tohoto důvodu je vhodné v uvažovaném průřezu (ve vzdáleností x od počátku prutu) určit závislost mezi vnitřním ohybovým momentem Mr(x) s danou normálovou silou Nr(x) a odpovídající křivostí ohybové čáry y%22(x)?. Na základě ohybového momentu druhého řádu M2(x), závislého na křivosti ohybové čáry y%22(x) a již zmíněného vztahu ?Mr(x) - y%22(x)?, je možné najít kritickou křivost ycr a odpovídající ohybovou kapacitu prvku reprezentovanou kritickým ohybovým momentem prvního řádu M1,cr.   • Design of modern reinforced concrete structures is typical by using slender compressed structural members. Effect of external forces on slender eccentric compressed member is significantly dependent on its deflection. During the solution of these slender members it is necessary to deal with the equilibrium of internal and external forces on deformed structure. For this purpose it is suitable at the considered cross-section (given by the distance x measured from the bar origin) to determine dependency between internal bending moment Mr(x) with given normal force Nr(x) and corresponding curvature of bending curve y%22(x)?. On the basis of the second order bending moment course M2(x), dependent on the curvature of bending curve y%22(x) and already mentioned relationship ?Mr(x) - y%22(x)?, it is possible to find critical curvature ycr and corresponding bending capacity of the member represented by the critical first order bending moment M1,cr.
