Description	The thesis ?Romany music and musicality of the Romany people as a positive cultural stereotype and dominant cultural configuration? tries to mediate a deeper understanding of this phenomenon in many diversified past and present forms and through understanding its inner order and rules to strengthen the awareness of tolerance, respect and esteem to the Romany culture and music not only as a whole, but especially to chosen details. At the same time, with the use of personal pedagogical and research experience, the author is trying to map the current actual forms of the chosen aspects of the Romany musicality on the example of Romay school children. She is trying to confront the positive stereotypes and ?myths? long anchored into the domestic social-cultural reality - images - with the current reality prevailing at the chosen area - facts. (en) Monografie usiluje o široký výčet a detailní popis historických a soudobých podob romské hudby a hudební kultury, které konfrontuje s reálně se projevující hudebností Romů, resp. s vybranými aspekty hudebnosti romských dětí školního věku. Deskripce je podpořena příkladovým auditivním materiálem a především kvantifikovanými a komentovanými výsledky vlastních praktických hudebněpedagogických šetření a výzkumů. Monografie usiluje o široký výčet a detailní popis historických a soudobých podob romské hudby a hudební kultury, které konfrontuje s reálně se projevující hudebností Romů, resp. s vybranými aspekty hudebnosti romských dětí školního věku.
