Description
| - The zeta potential of different kinds of carbonaceous materials was studied with respect to the content of oxygen. Samples of sub-bituminous, bituminous, altered bituminous coal, activated carbon and graphite were used. It was found, that zeta potential of coal samples decreases to more negative values with increasing native amount of oxygen. This trend was confirmed on samples of partially oxidized coal, for which the zeta potential decreases with increasing temperature of oxidation and increasing amount of chemisorbed oxygen. Similar relation was found for samples of graphite oxidized by nitric acid. A surface of carbonaceous materials was also modified by surfactant - SDS (sodium dodecyl sulphate). We followed relationship between adsorbed amount of SDS and changes of the zeta potential.

- Různé vzorky uhlíkatých materiálů byly studovány s ohledem na obsah kyslíku v jejich hmotě. Měřen byl zeta potenciál neupravených materiálů a vzorků upravených tepelnou oxidací, oxidací kyselinou dusičnou a modifikací anionaktivním tenzidem. Zeta potenciál obecně klesá s rostoucím obsahem kyslíku (kyslíkatých skupin). (cs)
