Description	The main goal of this paper is to suggest factors associated with successful social entrepreneurship as the innovation in entrepreneurship, which leads to significant changes in the social, political and economic contexts for poor and marginalized groups. The hypothesis, defining the core innovations, leadership, organization, and scaling up the impact of organization activities in social problem solution as the key factor for successful social entrepreneurship, is stated. This hypothesis is tested by a comparative analysis of six cases of social entrepreneurship that have been widely recognized as successful in context of mentioned factor. The paper concludes with a discussion of the implications for the practice of social entrepreneurship, for further research, that can encourage future social entrepreneurship. (en) Cieľom štúdie je identifikovať kľúčové faktory podmieňujúce úspešnosť sociálneho podnikania ako inovatívneho prístupu k podnikaniu zameraného na riešenie sociálnych problémov s dopadom na transformáciu sociálneho systému. Výskumná otázka, predpoklad ktorého platnosť budeme sekundárnym výskumom overovať špecifikuje ako kľúčové faktory úspechu sociálneho podnikania inovácie v podnikaní, štýl riadenia, stratégie upevnenia postavenia a zvyšovania miery vplyvu organizácie v systéme. Predpoklad budeme testovať na výberovom súbore šiestich sociálnych podnikov všeobecne považovaných za úspešné. Závery prinášajú podnety pre ďalší rozvoj praxe aj teórie sociálneho podnikania.
