| - Auxiny se spolu s cytokininy účastní regulace mnoha aspektů vývoje rostlin, od úrovně jednotlivých buněk a jejich kompartmentů až na úroveň celistvé rostliny. Protože se auxiny podílejí na regulaci buněčného dělení, zakládání a udržení buněčné polarity i buněčné diferenciace, jsou velmi významné pro techniky množení rostlin in vitro. Tato kapitola shrnuje znalosti o metabolismu auxinů, o přenosu jejich signálu a mechanismu jejich působení, včetně účinků auxinů a jejich analogů v buněčných, tkáňových a orgánových kulturách. (cs)
- Auxins, together with cytokinins, control many aspects of plant development from the level of single cells and their compartments up to the level of the whole plant. Since they are involved in regulation of cell division, cell polarity establishment and maintenance, as well as cell differentiation, they are especially important in in vitro plant propagation techniques. The chapter summarizes what is known about auxin metabolism, their signalling and mode of action, including the effects of auxins and their analogues in cell, tissue and organ cultures.
