  • Předneseno na:Joint Seminar – Development of materials science in research and education/24./CZ,Lednice,08.09.-12.09.2014, The spark-plasma-sintering (SPS) system was used for BaTiO3, and multi-layers using Al2O3 and MgTiO3 (or CaTiO3) as components.Multi-layers were prepared by SPS using Al2O3 and TiO2 as components.These two materials have markedly different mechanical, optical and electrical properties and in the other hand a high degree of chemical and crystallographic compatibility.When one of the components is nanometric and second one not, different character of the boundary is obtained.Optical FGM was obtained by thermal post-treatment of the SPS-produced YAG:Ce – cerium doped YAG (Y3Al5O12).The fully crystalline YAG:Ce is useful for cathodoluminiscent material production as well as converters of UV radiation to yellow visible light. The as-prepared material by SPS is extremely sensitive to redox conditions.
