  • Polymer UHMWPE, který se používá jako klíčová komponenta kloubních náhrad, byl modifikován pomocí ozařování urychlenými elektrony (1 MeV, 0-100kGy, > 25 kGy/min, za přístupu vzduchu) a též pomocí tepelných úprav. Změny struktury byly sledovány širokou škálou difrakčních, mikroskopických, spektroskopických a termických metod. (cs)
