  • Pevná stříbrná amalgámová elektroda bez obsahu kapalné rtuti (p-AgSAE) se ukázala jako experimentálně vhodná, spolehlivá a environmentálně příznivá náhrada za visicí rtuťovou kapkovou elektrodu v elektrochemické analýze. Doposud byly většinou užívány pro stanovení některých anorganických iontů nebo nukleových bazí. Je popisována jejich úspěšná aplikace pro stanovení pěti biologicky významných organických látek: L-a-amino kyselina cystein (komplex s Cu+), kyselina askorbová, nitro sloučeniny (1,3-dinitrobenzen a 2,4-dinitrotoluen), a benzaldehyd. V některých případech elektroda vykazovala meze detekce na úrovni HMDE. Elektrochemická regenerace elektrodového povrchu umožnila dosažení nízkých hladin RSD (0.89-3.3%). (cs)

It has been so far mostly used for determinations of some inorganic ions or some nucleic bases. Its successful applications for determination of five biologically important organic compounds are described: L-a-amino acid cysteine (complex with Cu+), ascorbic acid, nitro compounds (1,3-dinitrobenzene and 2,4-dinitrotoluene), and benzaldehyde. In some cases this electrode exhibits limits of detection as low as HMDE does. Electrochemical regenerations of electrode surface enabled achievement of low levels of RSD (0.89-3.3%).
