  • In this paper the effect of nanoclays on flame retardancy of polymer nanocomposites is investigated. In order to unravel the influence of filler and polymer matrix structure, composites based on organoclays (Cloisite 30B, Nanocor I-3TC, Nanoblend 1001) and polymer matrix (polypropylene, polyamide, polyethyleneterephtalate and polystyrene) have been investigated.
