  • V současnosti je glykolýza nejzajímavější a nejperspektivnější metoda chemické recyklace odpadních polyurethanů. Rozklad polymeru glykoly vede ke vzniku produktů s koncovými hydroxyskupinami, tzv. recyklovaných polyolů, které jsou použitelné při přípravě nových polyurethanů, především tvrdých pěn. Nicméně vzhledem k omezenému trhu s tímto materiálem je aktuální nalézt další možné aplikace pro tyto recyklované polyoly. (cs)
  • Nowadays, the most important method of chemical recycling of waste polyurethanes (PUR) is glycolysis. Decomposition of polymer by means of glycol leads to formation of a product mixture with hydroxyl-end groups called “recycled polyols”. These polyols are suitable for preparation of new PUR materials, especially rigid PUR foams. Nevertheless, the rigid PUR foam market is rather limited and thus it is challenging to find a new application field for these recycled polyols.
