Description	Complexes methyl 2-lithioisobutyrate/Li tert-butoxide were prepared with various starting concentrations of the components and under various conditions so that the resulting cross-aggregates had different compositions. The cross aggregates initiate polymerization of MMA; however, if the initiating system is in an equilibrium state, polymerization proceeds in a living manner and can be perfectly controlled.
