Description
| - The radionuclide 166Ho is successfully produced in LWR-15 Nuclear research reactor at the Institute of Nuclear Research in Řež. Its physical properties (.beta.-decay, the maximum .beta. energy 1,84 MeV, half-time 26,8 d) are suitable for a plentyof medical applications, e.g. skin and hepatic malignancies, rheumatoid arthritis. 166Ho-BMA are obtained by irradiating of inactive 166Ho-BMA. These are prepared by reacting ofthe aqueous solution Ho(NO3)3 . 5H20 with 2,5 M sodium borohydride (NaBH4) solution in 0,2 M NaOH. The particle size distributions is 1 to 170 .mu.m. 166Ho-PLA-MS are obtained by irradiating of inacti ve 166Ho-PLA-MS. These are prepared by reacting of the aqueous solution Ho(AcAc)3 with chloroform solution poly(1-lactic acid). The acetylacetone complex of holmium is prepared by its precipitation into the aqueous phaseafter adding of the aqueous solution HoC13. 6 H20 to the aqueous solution NH4AcAc. The in vitro stability studies are carried out by incubating BMA in 6 ml of saline (vario
