  • Osově symetrický proudu vzduchu byl řízen soustavou syntetizovaných proudů, rozmístěných kolem jeho obvodu. Cílem bylo vyšetřit vliv tohoto řízení na přestup tepla a hmoty na stěně obtékané impaktním proudem. Podle dosavadní poznatků by nestacionarity proudu měly intenzifikovat transportní proces. Pro porovnání výsledků byl použit referenční (ustálený, nebuzený) proud, generovaný stejnou tryskou. Vliv řízení byl zkoumán experimentálně pomocí kouřové visualizace, PIV, a naftalenové sublimační metody. Zvýšení přestupu tepla bylo nalazeno ve stagnační oblasti při relativně malých vzdálenostech stěny od trysky. (cs)
  • A round air jet was controlled using a system of synthetic jets distributed around the periphery in the exit plane. The aim was to investigate the influence of this jet control on heat/mass transfer if the controlled jet is impinging upon a a surface. It followed the generally accepted idea that a suitable flow field unsteadiness can enhance heat transfer. For comparison purposes, a reference (steady) impinging jet was also generated using the same nozzle without the actuation.The actuation effect of the synthetic jets has been studied experimentally using the smoke visualization, PIV, and naphthalene sublimation techniques. Heat transfer augmentation was found in the stagnation area at small nozzle-to wall spacing.
