Description	The observations show that pressure of the medium in cavitated regions of hydrodynamical bearings remains approximately constant. To be satisfied the continuity of flow the pressure gradient of oil at the entrance into the cavitated area must be zero and positive at the entrance into the full film region behind the cavitation. To determine edges of the cavitated area a new procedure has been developed and implemented into the algorithm for investigation of the transient response of rotors excited by force and kinematic effects. A modified Newmark method has been chosen for solution of the equation of motion. (en) Pozorování ukazují, že tlak média v kavitovaných oblastech hydrodynamických ložisek zůstává přibližně konstantní. Aby byla splněna podmínka spojitosti průtoku, musí být tlakový gradient oleje na vstupu do kavitované oblasti nulový a na vstupu do nepřerušeného olejového filmu za oblastí kavitace kladný. Pro stanovení okrajů kavitované oblasti byl vypracován nový postup, který byl implementován do algoritmu pro analýzu přechodové odezvy rotorů na silové a kinematické buzení. K řešení pohybové rovnice byla zvolena modifikovaná metoda Newmarkova. (cs)
