Description	This paper desribes optimalization of the growth conditions of white-rot fungus Irpex lacteus, a potential candidate for use in bioremediation in situ, on polyurethane solid support. The main objective was isolation and characterization of manganese-dependent peroxidase (MnP) isoenzyme (pI 4.8) exhibitng the highest activity. Optimization of the enzyme production and isolation procedure covering anion exchange chromatography (Mono Q) was performed.
