Description
| - New chelating mono- and bis(imidazolyl) pyridine ligands were synthesized in order to use them for modification of carbon paste electrodes (CPEs). Before using them as sensors, it is necessary first to investigate them electrochemically. The detailed mechanism of their reduction was elucidated including isolation and characterization of products and intermediates. It was found that in the first step the C=N double bond of the imidazole ring is reduced to a single bond which is in the second step split and the heterocycle is opened.

- Byly syntetizovány nové chelátující mono- a bis(imidazolyl) pyridinové ligandy za účelem jejich zabudování do uhlíkových pastových elektrod jako specifické senzory. Napřed ale byly samotné tyto látky prostudovány elektrochemicky a byl zjištěn detailní mechanismus jejich redukce včetně zachycení, izolace a identifikace produktů. V prvním kroku se redukuje dvojná vazba C=N na imidazolovém kruhu, aby se v následujícím kroku reduktivně rozštěpila za otevření heterocyklu. (cs)
