  • The two lowest vibrational levels of chloroform HC35Cl3, v6=1 and v3=1, have been studied by submilimeter wave spectroscopy in the regions 255-350 and 530-635 GHz, corresponding to the ranges of J=38-53 and 80-96. The v6=1 level has an accidentally small value of (C-B-C.zeta.)is about - 0.0029 cm-1, which lies in the origin of a global q22 resonance (.DELTA.k = +-2, N = +-2). As a consequence of this resonance, the levels of the v6=1 vibrational state exhibit several resonant crossings due to the q12 l-type interaction (.DELTA.k = +-1, N = +-2), which induce measurable perturbation-allowed rotational transitions. Analysis of these data enabled an independent determination of the C6 and C.zeta.6 constants, which is not a typical case in purely rotational studies of symmetric top molecules. In the spectra of the v3=1 level, the splittings of K=3 transitions have been resolved, making the determination of the h3 splitting term possible. ...

  • Dvě nejnižší vibrační hladiny chloroformu, HC35Cl3, v6 = 1 and v3 = 1, byly studovány submilimetrovou spektroskopií v oblastech frekvencí 255-350 a 530-635 GHz, které odpovídají rotačním kvantovým stavům J = 38-53 a 80-96. Vibrační hladina v6 = 1 má náhodně malou hodnotu (C-B-C.zeta.) cca - 0.0029 cm-1, což způsobuje globální rezonanci typu q22 (.DELTA.k = +-2, N = +-2). Jejím důsledkem je řada lokálních rezonancí typu q12 (.DELTA.k = +-1, N = +-2), které generují poruchově dovolené přechody. Analýza těchto dat umožnila nezávislé určení konstant C6 and C.zeta.6, což není typický případ molekul typu symetrického setrvačníku rotační spektroskopií. Ve vibračním stavu v3 = 1 byla změřena štěpení přechodů K=3 a z nich určena štěpící konstanta h3. Celkem bylo změřeno vice než 800 rotačních přechodů ve vibračním stavu v6 = 1 a více než 250 rotačních přechodů ve vibračním stavu v3 = 1. Změřené frekvence byly kvantitativně reprodukovány výpočtem se standardními odchylkami 43 kHz ... (cs)
