Description
  • Software for dynamic simulations of NOx storage and reduction catalyst for abatement of NOx exmissions in automotive exhaust gases from economical lean-burn (Diesel and advanced gasoline) engines. The model reaction kinetics contain detailed description of NOx adsorption under lean conditions and consequent reduction of the stored NOx in excess of CO, H2 and hydrocarbons, including dynamic prediction of selectivity towards N2O, N2, or NH3. The model predicts instantaneous and overall conversions and selectivities in dependence on actual monolith configuration and operating conditions, including real driving cycles. N2O formation submodel enables to predict N2O emissions (greenhouse gas).
