  • Stereoselektivní rozpoznávaní bilirubinu a biliverdinu poly(L-lysinem) (PLL), poly(D-lysinem) (PDL), a poly(L-argininem) (PLA) a jejich micelami s dodekanátem sodným (C12) za různých pH byly studovány kombinací elektronického a vibračního cirkulárního dichroismu. Bylo zjištěno, ze konformace biliverdinu v komplexech s polypeptidy je citlivější na změny pH v roztoku. V kyselém prostředí pro komplexy s PLL-C12 a PDL-C12 je konformace více zavřená než při fyziologickém pH. Částečné zploštění a chirální samoskladba u bilirubinu byla pozorována za větších koncentracích v komplexech z PLL a PDL. Pro oba pigmenty byla pozorována inverze znaménka ECD signálů pro komplexy s PLA za pH>8.5. Studium bylo prováděno s cílem popsat roli zbytků Lys a Arg při interakci pigmentů s albuminy séra. Získaná CD spektra pro komplexy bilirubinu s albuminy séra různých savců byla porovnána s homologii vazebných míst pro pigmenty (domény IIA). Výsledky analýzy napovídají, že chiroptické vlastností komplexů pigmentů s albumin (cs)

Biliverdin has been found to be more sensitive to pH in its complexes with the polypeptides. In acidic media in the complexes with PLL-C12 and PDL-C12 the conformation becomes more closed than the characteristic one found at physiological pH. Partial flattening and chiral selfassociation of bilirubin molecules takes place at higher concentrations with PLL and PDL. For both pigments, inversions of the ECD signals are observed in the systems with PLA at pH>8.5. This study was carried out in order to clarify the role of Lys and Arg residues in pigment binding to serum albumin. The circular dichroism spectra obtained for bilirubin bound to different mammalian serum albumins have been compared with the homology within the IIA p
