  • New results of a systematic study of partial molar volumes at infinite dilution (standard partial molar volumes) in water of several hydroxyderivatives of aliphatic hydrocarbons are summarized. The experiments were performed using an automated vibrating-tube densimeter designed for the measurements of density differences (solution) - (water) in the temperature range from 298 K to 573 K and at pressures up to 30 MPa. The set of solutes comprises monohydric alcohols derived from methane, ethane, propane, and isomers of butane, and selected polyhydric (from two to five hydroxyl groups) derivatives of ethane, propane, n-butane, n-pentane, 2,2-dimethylpropane and n-hexane. Analogues of isothermal compressibility and isobaric expansivity for standard partial molar volume have been also evaluated from experimental data. The results are discussed from the point of view of regularities within homologous series. The effect of number of hydroxyl groups and their position on the aliphatic chain is examined. Par

  • Jsou shrnuty nové výsledky systematického studia parciálních molárních objemů při nekonečném zředění (standardní parcilální molární objemy) ve vodě několika hydroxyderivátů alifatických alkoholů. Experimenty byly provedeny pomocí autimatizovaného vibračního hustoměru navrženého pro měření hustotních diferencí rho = rho(solution) - rho(water) v teplotním rozsahu od 298 K do 573 K a při tlacích do 30 MPa. Soubor látek zahrnuje monohydrické alkoholy odvozené od methanu, ethanu, propanu a isomerů butanu, a vybrané polyhydrické (od dvou do pěti hydroxylových skupin) deriváty ethanu, propanu, n-butanu, n-pentanu, 2,2-dimethylpropanu a n-hexanu. Byly rovněž vyhodnoceny analogy isotermické stlačitelnosti a isobarické roztažnosti pro standardní parciální molární objemy. Výsledky jsou diskutovány z hlediska pravidelností v homologických řadách. Byl zkoumán vliv počtu hydroxylových skupin a jejich polohy na alifatickém řetězci. Zvláštní pozornost byla věnována inverzi znaménka teplotní a tlakové derivace parci (cs)
