  • Byl zkoumán časo prostorový vývoj sušící fronty během vakuového kontaktního sušení na úrovni velikosti částic jako funkce tvaru částic a rovnovážného smáčecího úhlu. Byla použita rektgenová mikrotomografie jako neinvazivní technika pro přímé pozorování profilů vlkosti ve vzorku porézního média (sypaná vrstva) tvořeného kůlatými nebo válcovými částicemi. Soubězně s experimenty byly počítány profily vlkosti pomocí numerických simulací. Dále byl jak experimentálně, tak numericky, zkoumán vliv rovnovážného smáčecího úhlu na míru disperze sušící fronty.   • Spatio-temporal evolution of drying front during vacuum contact drying at particle-scale as a function of particle shape and solid-liquid equilibrium contact angle has been investigated. X-ray computed micro-tomography (XCMT) as a non-invasive technique has been used for direct observation of evolution of moisture content profiles in a sample of a porous medium (packed layer) for spherical and cylindrical particle assemblies. Simultaneously, the development of the moisture content profiles during contact drying has been calculated by numerical simulation. The effect of contact angle on the degree of dispersion of the drying front has been studied. The direct comparison of results obtained experimentally and calculated numerically has been carried out.
