  • Liquid and vapor phase sorption experiments of methanol and water and their mixtures in Nafion(R)112 membrane at temperature of 298.15 K were under study. The swelling measurements of systems pure water, pure methanol and methanol/water mixtures were carried out at temperature of 298.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. Membrane sample with size 5x5 mm was cut off from supply sheet and fixed by pike inside measuring Teflon cell. Whole cell with fixed sample was located into temperature-controlled oven. Swelling on Nafion in water is approximately three times lower than in methanol and maximal value of swelling was reached for methanol/water mixture containing 75 % of methanol. Vapor phase measurements were performed by gravimetric method and from experimental data the sorption isotherms were evaluated. Determined shape of methanol isotherm (3rd-order polynomial) is in agreement with literature.   • Cílem práce bylo stanovit sorpce metanolu, vody a jejich směsí v Nafionové membráně při 25 C z kapalné i parní fáze. Botnání membrány v čistých látkách a směsích bylo měřeno při atmosférickém tlaku v termostatované teflonové cele, ve které byla membrána upevněna na bodci a byly sledovány změny tvaru membrány v čase ve směru os x a y. Bylo zjištěno, že Nafion botná v metanolu přibližně 3x více než ve vodě a v případě směsí membrána nejvíce bobtnala pro směs obsahující 75 % metanolu. Sorpční experimenty z parní fáze byly prováděny gravimetricky a y naměřených dat byly stanoveny sorpční izotermy. Zjištěný tvar izoterem (polynom 3. řádu) je ve shodě s literaturou. Dále bylo provedeno porovnání dat získaných oběma metodami pro čisté látky (a=1). (cs)
