  • Mechanismy reakcí, vykazující násobné stacionární stavy a oscilace mohou být klasifikovány podle charakteristických typů kladných a záporných zpětných vazeb. Tyto vazby a podmínky pro související oscilační nestabilitu jsou identifikovány s použitím analýzy stechiometrických sítí. Několik typů experimentů může být použito pro klasifikaci reakčních mechanismů a určení úlohy, kterou hrají složky. V návaznosti mohou být určeny hlavní rysy mechanismu. Jako příklady jsou uvedeny anorganické pH oscilátory a katalytická oxidace výfukových plynů v konvertorech. (cs)
  • Mechanisms of reactions displaying multiple steady states and/or oscillations can be categorized according to characteristic types of positive and negative feedback loops involved. These loops as well as conditions for the associated oscillatory instability are identified by using stoichiometric network analysis. Several types of experiments can be performed to classify reaction mechanisms and the role of species. Subsequently, main features of the mechanism can be deduced. Inorganic pH oscillators and catalytic oxidation of exhaust gases in converters are taken as examples of this kind of analysis.
