Description
  • The work is focused on mathematical modeling of reaction-transport processes in a microcapillary for immunoassay. A surface biochemical reaction between the immobilized antigen (Protein A) and antibody molecules (IgG) in a solution is studied. The model is based on reaction-transport equations, the equation of electrostatics and the Navier-Stokes equations. Numerical solutions of the model equations and analytical solutions in special cases are determined. Parametrical studies are also carried out. We have looked for such sets of parameters when the time of the immunoassay between Protein A and IgG can be substantially shortened. The model can be used for design and development of ultra-fast diagnostic systems.

  • Práce je zaměřena na matematické modelování reakčně-transportních procesů v mikrokapiláře určené pro imunoanalýzu. Je studována povrchová interakce mezi imobilizovaným antigenem (Proteinem A) a protilátkami. Byla vykonána řada parametrických studií zaměřená na možné zkrácení doby imunoanalýzy. Model může být použit při výzkumu a vývoji rychlých diagnostických zařízení. (cs)
