  • Microchemical engineering is a new engineering discipline introducing the current concepts of miniaturization (originally started in the electronic industry) into processes where mass, heat and momentum transport, chemical reaction(s) and/or separation take place. Current materials and methods for fabrication of microstructurized systems will be reviewed. Our experiences with microstructurization of glass (photostructurable glass Foturan, UV lithography) and polymer substrates(micromachining, casting, embossing) are presented.

  • Mikrochemické inženýrství je nový inženýrský obor aplikující koncept miniaturizace (původem z elektrotechnického průmyslu) na systémy, v nichž dochází ke sdílení hmoty, tepla a hybnosti současně s chemickými reakcemi. Příspěvek shrnuje dostupné metody výroby mikrostruktur a diskutuje konkrétní zkušenosti našeho pracoviště s mikrostrukturováním skleněných (fotocitlivé sklo Foturan - UV litografie) a polymerních substrátů (mikroobrábění, vtlačování, odlévání).
