  • Polymerizace olefinů na heterogenních katalyzátorech, například katalyzátorech typu Ziegler-Natta nebo metallocenových katalyzátorech, je hlavním zdrojem polyolefinů. Vývoj částice polymeru začínající z porézní částice katalyzátoru o průměru přibližně 20 m a končící částicí o průměru přibližně 1 mm není doposud zcela pochopen. V naší práci jsme použili dvou nových konceptů meso-skopického matematického modelování růstu částice v katalytické polymerizaci olefinů: (i) prostorově 3D rekonstruované porézní/více-fázové prostředí, a (ii) aglomeráty mikro-elementů s binárními a ternárními visko-elastickými interakcemi působícími mezi jednotlivými mikro-elementy.   • The polymerization of olefins on heterogeneous catalysts, e.g., on catalysts of the Ziegler-Natta or metallocene type, is the main source of polyolefins. The fundamentals of the polymer particle evolution starting from the porous catalyst particle with diameter approx. 20 #m and growing up to the final particle with diameter of approx. 1 mm are not completely understood yet. In our work we adopted two novel concepts of the meso-scopic mathematical modeling of particle growth in catalytic polymerization of olefins: spatially 3D reconstructed porous/multi-phase media, and agglomerates of micro-elements with binary and ternary visco-elastic interactions acting among individual micro-elements. Challenges of the introduced concepts for the rational design of porous/multi-phase structures with desired application properties are discussed.
