  • K určení geometrických parametrů semen čočky (Lens culinaris Medik) byla využit systém analýzy obrazu LUCIA ver. 3.52. Hodnoty hmotnosti 1000 semen, hustoty, měrného objemu, měrného povrchu a povrchu 1000 semen červené a zelené čočky byly stanoveny následovně: 66,61 a 138,56 g, 1504,5 a 1376,4 kg/m3, 0,6647 a 0,7265 cm3/g, 5,94 a 5,79 cm2/g, 395,4 a 801,9 cm2. Objem čočky byl simulován zploštělým elipsoidem a dvěma kruhovými úsečemi a vypočtené údaje z obou modelů byly porovnány s pyknometrickým měřením. Odchylky činily u červené čočky 4,4 % a u zelené čočky 4,2 %. Výsledky ukazují, že analýza obrazu poskytuje dobrou alternativu k manuálnímu měření geometrických parametrů čočky. (cs)
  • Digital image analysis was applied to determine the geometrical features of lentils (Lens culinaris Medik). The geometrical features of seeds were analyzed using the LUCIA system ver. 3.52 software. The values of the weight of 1000 kernel, kernel density, specific volume, specific surface area and surface area of 1000 kernel of red and green lentils were determined as 66.61 and 138.56 g, 1.5045 and 1.3764 g/cm3, 0.6647 and 0.7265 cm3/g, 5.94 and 5.79 cm2/g, 395.4 and 801.9 cm2, respectively. Lentil volume was simulated by oblate spheroid and two sphere segment approximation and compared with the volume obtained from pycnometer method. Compared with the manual measurement for volume, the percentage difference of the two sphere segment approximation for red and green lentil were 4.4% and 4.2%, respectively. The results suggest that image analysis is potentially a good alternative to manual measurements of geometric features for lentils.
