Description
  • The aim of our research work was the monitoring of the biodegradation of phenol and aniline by suspended and attached bacterial populations. Gram-positive bacteria Rhodococcus erythropolis that is able to utilize phenol and aniline as a sole carbon source, was cultivated in various experimental systems. The suspended cells experiments were carried out in shaked Erlenmeyer flasks and both batch and continual biofilm experiments in aired columns. Various carrier materials were evaluated ? silicone, glass with roughened surface and polypropylene.

  • Cílem naší práce bylo srovnání biodegradace fenolu a anilinu bunňkami rostoucími planktonně a v biofilmu. Gram-pozitivní bakterie Rhodococcus erythropolis schopná utilizace fenolu a anilinu jako jediných zdrojů uhlíku a energie byla kultivována v různých kultivačních uspořádáních. Planktonní buňky byly kultivovány v třepaných Erlenmeyerových baňkách, pokusy s populací rostoucí v biofilmu - batch i kontinuální ? byly provedeny v skleněných kolonách. Byly vyzkoušeny různé materiály jako nosiče pro buněčnou adhezi ? silikon, sklo se zdrsněným povrchem a polypropylen. (cs)
