  • Enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose is an important reaction in nature. It presents the first step in the decay of cellulose, the most abundantly occurring organic material. Cellulosic biomass conversion including agricultural, forestry residues and herbaceous and woody plants to glucose, a sugar that is easily fermented to ethanol and other compounds offers significant environmental, economic and strategic advantages. However, low conversion expenses are necessary to realize large scale applications. Unlike the chemical reactions, the enzymatic process has not yet been adjusted to any useful industrial purpose. This paper is aimed to hydrolysis comparison of six different cellulose materials by the yeast strain Trichosporon cutaneum. Soluble (low viscosity carboxymethylcellulose - CMC, hydroxyethylcellulose - HEC), powdered (Avicel PH 101, Sigmacell Type 101) and solid celluloses (filter paper, cellophane) were studied.   • Enzymatická hydrolýza patří v přírodě mezi důležité reakce. Prezentuje první krok v rozkladu celulosy, hojně se vyskytujícímu se materiálu. Konverze celulosové biomasy zahrnující rezidua z lesního hospodářství, pěstování bylin a dřevin na glukosu, která je pak snadno fermentována na etanol a na další látky, nabízí environmentální, ekonomické a strategické výhody. Pro aplikace ve větším měřítku jsou však nutné nízké náklady. Enzymatický proces by mohl být řešením. Tento článek je zaměřen na srovnání hydrolýzy šesti různých celulosových substrátů (nízkoviskózní karboxymetylcelulose ? CMC, hydroxyetylcelulosa ? HEC, práškové celulosy Sigmacell Type 101 a Avicel PH 101; filtrační papír, celofán) kvasinkou Trichosporon cutaneum. Glukosa a další látky uvolněné enzymatickou hydrolýzou byly stanoveny HPLC. Byl také stanoven profil extracelulárních proteinů. Bylo zjištěno, že stupeň sacharifikace rozpustných substrátů byl vyšší než u nerozpustných. Za daných podmínek bylo degradováno: CMC 21,7 %, HEC 35,7 %, (cs)
