  • Práce se zabývá chováním biofiltru zatěžovaného odpadním plynem obsahujícím směs toluenu a xylenu. Výsledky prokázaly následující skutečnosti. Vyšší aktivita biokatalyzátoru vyžaduje pracovní teploty nad 30°C. Pro udržení vysoké aktivity buněk je nutno udržovat vlhkost biofiltračního lože nad 60% vlhkosti. Kratkodobé zátěžové šoky mají inhibiční účinek, který je však reversibilní. (cs)
  • The work describes both the steady and transient behaviours of biofilters loaded with a mixture of xylene and toluene. The results proved the following facts: The bed temperature above 30°C gives a higher degradation ability of the biocatalsyt. Keeping the bed humidity above 60°C the cell activity is maintained at the high level. Short-term high loading steps have a reversible inhibitory effect on pollutant degradations.
