  • Je známo mnoho procesů čištění plynů, odpovídající daným účelům. Pru účely vysokoteplotního palivového článku je nutné odstranit nečistoty na velmi nízkou úroveň koncentrace. Například H2S z 200 ppm na 1 ppm, COS z 15 na 1 ppm, HCl z 150 na 10 ppm a HF z 20 na 10 ppm. Při teplotě 500 - 700 °C byly vyzkoušeny sorbenty na bázi CuO, ZnO, CaO, MgO a dolomitu. V tabulkové formě jsou uvedeny výsledné kapacity jednotlivách sorbentů v g znečišťující látky / 1kg sorbentu při 700 °C. (cs)
