  • This work aims to optimize the parameters of centrifugical atomizer with high-speed rotating graphite disk. For this purpose, AlSi9Cu3 was used as testing alloy. Optimal rotation speed and diameter of graphite casting jet were determined depending on the fraction of obtained powder sizes and their microstructure. Consequently Al-Ni-Mm-Si alloys (Mm represents mischmetall) with various chemical composition were prepared. Microstructure and phase composition of these alloys were studied.
