  • Kinetika methoxylační reakce byla studována ve standardním tříelektrodovém uspořádání s rotující diskovou elektrodou s diskem ze skelného uhlíku (GC). Vsádkové elektrolýzy byla prováděny taktéž v tříelektrodovém uspořádání, jako pracovní elektroda při nich sloužila destička z GC. Jako protielektroda a referenční elektroda byly v obou případech použity nasycená kalomelová elektroda a Pt plíšek/síťka. Experimenty byly prováděny v methanolu s přídavkem NaClO4 a KF. Kinetika methoxylačních reakcí byla stanovována z lineárních voltamogramů a impedančních specter a popsána pomocí Tafelovy rovnice. Byla provedena korekce voltamogramů na přítomnost nekompenzovaného odporu elektrolytu a vedlejší reakce oxidae methanolu. Experimentální data umožnily stanovení aktivační energie jednotlivých reakcí. Naměřené lineární voltamogramy ukázaly významný rozdíl mezi oběma studovanými elektrolyty. NaClO4 je elektrochemicky inaktivní v celém rozmezí použitých elektrodových potenciálů. Batch electrolysis was performed in three electrode arrangement as well. As a working electrode served GC plate. Counter and reference electrode were Pt grid/sheet and SCE (sat. KCl), respectively. Experiments were performed in methanol with either NaClO4 or KF as a supporting electrolyte. Kinetics of the methoxylation reactions was calculated either from linear sweep voltammograms or Electrochemical Impedance Spectra and described by means of Tafel equation. Correction of recorded voltammograms for presence of the uncompensated resistance of the electrolyte and the background current was provided. The activation energies of the individual methoxylation reaction steps were calculated from experimental data.
