  • V príspevku sa popisujú dve alternativy sprístupnenia vybraného modelového územia v Nízkých Tatrách. V prvej alternatíve sa uvádzá súčasný reálny stav sprístupnenia územia lesnými cestami a druhá alternativa popisuje novo navrhované modelové riešenie sprístupnenia tohoto územia za využitia metód GIS a daných vstupných podmienok ako bolo dodržanie optimálnej hustoty, rozostupu a približovacej vzdialenosti tak, aby sa územie pokrylo lesnými cestami rovnomerne, s maximálnou plochou sprístupňovaného územia a minimálnou potrebou dlžky budovaných ciest. V oboch alternatívach sa sprístupňovanie posudzovalo podlˇa kategoórií lesov. V druhej alternative sa uvažovalo len s budováním kvalitných odvozných ciest s tým, aby sa minimalizovala cestná erózia vznikajúca hlavne pri realizácii zemných približovacích cestách a ich využívaní, ktoré v tejto alternative absentují.
  • In the article are presented and compared the two alternatives of accessing the model area located in Nízké Tatry, SR. The first alternative presents the current situation of accessing the forest by forest roads how they were built due the need and the second alternative presents the optimal access made using GIS. Both alternatives include information about the quality and density of forest roads according to the forest cathegory as well as the road lenght, road sparing and roaming. According to the second, theoretical alternative with the optimal spacing of 500 m and skidding distance of 250 m it would be possible to construct of 21 km of? forest roads less, what could save a lot of roads construction expenses, decrease the necessary appropriation of production forest area and the negative impact to the environment. It could also improve the quality of forest road network, decrease erosion of forest roads and it would be not necessary to construct the earth skidding roads. (en)
