  • At present, Precision Farming System is more and more used as a modern farming tool. The main feature of this system is the fact that a field is not taken as a uniform piece of land but individual parts are treated in different ways according to their quality. For this purpose, it is necessary to know about a field and its crop as much information as possible. The data is possible to obtain by means of various sensors and detectors for yield, soil moisture content, nutrients content mapping etc. and also by means of remote sensing. Remote sensing is based upon area of interest observation from a particular altitude by help of scanning devices. Such devices can be considered Earth’s satellites, piloted aircrafts and helicopters as well as radio controlled aircraft and helicopter models. This paper concerns possibility of aerial photographs taking and their image analysis by means of a radio controlled aircraft model. Furthermore, it deals with possibilities of utilizing these images in real practice.
