Description	In 2005 the phytocoenological survey was carried out in the Czech Republic in five agricultural farms that lie from the view of landscape, climate and soil condition in different agricultural production regions. The agricultural companies apply principles of organic farming for a long time, or use conventional farming system with intensive chemical weed control. The results of survey generally confirmed significantly higher weed species richness in organic farming agrophytocenoses. On analyzed organic farms areas in winter cereals more than 98.5 % weed species were recorded as compared with conventional farm areas, in root crops even 195.8 % more.
