  • During the exact field experiments, the sulphur content in plants was monitored. Four fertilization variants were observed. The control variant was fertilized only by nitrogen (LAV − ammonium nitrate with lime) and the another three variants were fertilized by the DASA 26/13 fertilizer (ammonium nitrate with ammonium sulfate) at various fertilizing levels: LAV − 100kg N/0 kg S.ha-1; DASA I − 100kg N/50kg S.ha-1; DASA II − 150kg N/75kg S.ha-1; and DASA III: 200kg N/100kg S.ha-1. The sulphur content in roots before fertilizing was 0.420% S in the first year and 0.452% S in the second year. After application, the sulphur transformed into the overground mass. April and May represent the highest sulphur transformation period which abates during the period of pod creation and plant maturing.
