  • Wheat quality is determined by many phenotypic and genotypic component.Long stres conditions especially in post floral period destroy the backing quality of grains. Temperature and the duration of maturation influence certain enzyme qualities, as well as Ca2+,Mg2+, and K+ The amount of mineral ions subsequently influences backing parameters such as gluten content, extensibility, activity of -amylase and proteolytic enzymes. The impact of brassinosteroids on these parameters has been studied for 3years (2001-2003) at CAU Prague.
