Description	The test inclued 144 currently used final hybrids of the (DxPN)x(LWxL) genotype of balanced sex. The increasing age of the animals and consequently also their weight is accompanied by an increase of the MLLT area, width, height of fat above MLLT. Until 134 days of age and live weight of approx. 70kg and starting from 162 days of age and the average weight of approx. 96kg the increase of MLLT area is low. In the period between 134th day and 162nd day of age a significant increase of the MLLT area was registered. During the testing period the MLLT area increased by 1471mm2, i.e. 55,2%. The width increased by 13,8% and the height by 29,2%. The comparison of the area of the A section (between 2nd and 3rd last but one rib) and B (between 4th and 5th lumbar vertebra) of the loin in the course of the growth showed in point B lower values in the MLLT area and width and on the contrary higher values in the depth.
