Description
| - Knowledge management is widely accepted as one of the most important developmental trends of the recent times. Corporations able to mobilize, to organize and to enhance their knowledgebase will gain a competitive advantage over those, who do not. In knowledge management the quality of managers makes a decisive component, which determines its efficiency. Because of it the demands concerning managers’ personality prerequisites are rather extensive. Generally, it is assumed that manager’s sphere of influence is very broad and far-reaching. This holds specifically for the top management, which task it is to control all the departments and activity areas of the company. The main aim of this paper is, henceforth, to establish the job characteristics profile of manager’s personality suitable for a knowledge organization, with special respect to specific managerial jobs, work behaviour, social competence and selected psychological constitutional items.
