Description	The aim of this paper is to specify and describe the most important determinants of the trend in regional unemployment in the Czech Republic. A regional unemployment rate is the basic monitored indicator. The regional employment is basically influenced by a whole range of factors. These factors are mutually influenced and can be found at different stages of the decision making process. These elements can be divided into two basic groups – direct and indirect factors. The aim of this paper is to specify and describe the most important determinants of the trend in regional unemployment in the Czech Republic.
