Description	The paper deals with possibilities of using ANSYS AUTODYN software for simulations of armor penetration by piercing ammunition. The simulations use the Finite Element Method (FEM). The paper describes procedures and methods of results evaluation of dynamic simulations and their continuity with the subsequent solution of multi-criteria evaluation of combat vehicles’ ballistic resistance.
