Description	Knowledge-based systems are at the present time widely used in many different areas of human activity. It is possible to meet them in domains connected with sociology just as in areas of medicine or technical sciences. But also in these applications are the knowledge-based systems used primarily for interaction human-machine. This paper deals with the general technical knowledge-based system and then, based on an example, shows its using in aeronautics. Knowledge-based systems are at the present time widely used in many different areas of human activity.
